May 2010 -- ADEVCO enters the South Carolina market as it partners with the Economic Development Office of Kershaw County to develop a 60,000 square-foot building, suitable for office space or a call center facility. Situated off I-20 in the prominent Wateree Executive Park, Kershaw's newest office park, this 8-acre site is ideal location for businesses seeking a presence is this growing market. Kershaw County, part of the Columbia MSA, enjoys a strong population, an educated and available workforce and is in close proximity to universities and regional airports. Tenant occupancy can occur in approximately five months as base building plans are 100% complete and the land has been cleared.
February 2010 -- ADEVCO presented keys to Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of information management and electronic commerce systems for the financial services industry, for its newest call center facility. Developed by ADEVCO, the 60,000 square-foot building in Hickory, North Carolina is located directly off I-40 with close proximity to I-85 and I-77, providing easy access for the expansive and educated labor force. Fiserv will hire approximately 420 employees. The contemporary space includes a large, full-service kitchen/dining area, game room and internet café. The 90-day tenant build-out was managed by ADEVCO.
May 2009 -- ADEVCO inked a deal with ITT Technical Institute, the country’s leading career-focused, private college system. In October, ITT Tech will occupy 20,000 square feet at ADEVCO’s completely refurbished facility in Johnson City, TN. With its regional draw, the Tri-Cities MSA is the ideal market for ITT Tech to expand its presence. Established in 1969, ITT Tech operates over 105 locations in 35 states featuring six specialty schools including: Information Technology, Drafting & Design, Electronics Technology, Business, Criminal Justice and Health Sciences.
